PET SITTING MKE COVID-19 Precautionary Measures:

Pet Sitting MKE will be opening to the, normal, full-time schedule starting

To ensure the safety of my walkers and customers (both two-legged and four), I am implementing a few precautionary safety measures as we continue walking dogs amidst the recent COVID-19 virus.

  1. Continued Video Meet and Greet Offered

  2. I will be offering video meet and greets via zoom and or Facetime to make owners feel most comfortable during this time.

  3. Ask that owners put pets closer to entrance ways. When entering homes to check-in-on or walk furry friends, I ask that owners leave pets closer to the entrance to minimize the amount of space entered within the owner's house. I will also touch as little as possible when entering homes, while...

  4. Washing of hands continuously throughout the day, and continuing use of sanitation gel (carrying in vehicle or purse) when entering and leaving homes.

  5. I am offering the use of my leashes. If owners prefer to minimize contact by walking their dogs with my leash, I will continue to carry all leashes on me at all times. Please let me know if this is something that would make you more comfortable!

  6. Commitment to keep owners in mind and make owners aware immediately if anyone in my home develops a respiratory cold and fever, or has been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 … Kindly asking that owners do the same.

  7. Try to maintain a flexible cancellation policy for travel and work commitments. This includes: Zero cancellation fees if canceled more than 12 hours before the booking. I realize everything is unknown right now - I want to help you!

  8. Extension of rates for customers before COVID-19. All customers booked at current prices (of $15/30min) before transition that were subject to a rate change as of September 2020, will now maintain their current rates until January 1, 2021. I hope this helps lighten some of the owners' transitions during this time! I appreciate all of my customers

  9. Adhering to social distancing practices until safe. Minimizing direct owner contact... no contact pick-up and drop-offs. I am staying 6+ feet apart from other passing individuals on walks.

  10. Use of disinfectant wipes in cars and on leashes. As always, toys are sanitized between the use of every dog. Bowls, toys, beds, and blankets, towels, etc. are sanitized between the use of every guest

If you guys have any questions about anything, feel free to send me a message. I would love to hear from you!
