How often do I need to book?
Pet Sitting MKE does not have any requirements as to how frequently or infrequently you need to book to remain an active customer in our system.
Will my dog have different walkers?
Yes and no. We typically try to maintain the same 2-3 pet sitters per household so that we can continue to create consistency and build strong relationships with each of the pets we care for, while also allowing for scheduling flexibility on behalf of our team. Our team members have designated availability and are not on call 24/7. That means if Fluffy is typically walked by Claire during lunch, but needs a late evening walk on the weekend, Fluffy may be visited by another friendly face on our team!
How far in advance should I book?
We encourage our clients to book as far in advance as possible to ensure the availability of our team. If you are planning a vacation, please book your pets' care as soon as you book your own accommodations! For weekly dog walks, we ask that our clients book their walks for the upcoming week no later than noon on Sunday.
What is your last minute booking policy?
We typically ask that our clients book their walks for the upcoming week no later than noon on Sunday. However, we understand that last minute circumstances come up! If you must submit a request less than 48hours prior to the booking, an additional $5.00 fee will be added to the service.
How do you enter my home?
The most common and most preferred option is to leave a key in a lock-box secured in a location that our team members might have easy access to. Other options may be discussed and considered during a complimentary meet and greet.
Why is it required that I have a lock box if I have a digital key pad for entry?
As convenient as digital key pads and garage codes are to navigate, they pose a large issue when technical difficulties arise. Whether your home is struck by lightning and reset your locks or your garage opener lost battery, Pet Sitting MKE requires that a physical key-copy is made to ensure our team access to your home and pets incase of any technical difficulties.
How can I save my photos from my report cards?
You have two options. The first option is to screen shot your photo directly from the report card on the app. If you'd like the photo in HQ, we suggest receiving your report cards via email, and holding down on the image you'd like to download and save to your mobile device.
How do I pay for my services?
Payment is done automatically through the SCOUT For Pet Owners app. Prior to service you must upload a Credit Card, Debit Card, or Paypal account. Every Tuesday your payment method will automatically be charged for any completed services the week prior (Monday - Sunday).
When is billing?
Billing is automatically done on Tuesdays following service.
Can I pay for my service in advance?
Yes! You can add credit to your account directly from your payment method at any time.
